Our lands as well as our bodies deserve excellent care and attention. Whether you are going through a recent reproductive life event like birth, loss, miscarriage or termination, we are here for you.
Our team is passionate about birthwork and we know there are barriers to accessing culturally safe supports. With a team of midwives, nurses and community health workers we can work together to address your sexual and reproductive health concerns. This includes but is not limited to Sexually Transmitted and Blood Born Infection testing, pregnancy testing, questions about birth control and family planning.
What Our Team Members Say:
I was a Registered Midwife for 11 years before giving up my registration in 2018 to work under the exemption clause. This allows me to provide care in line with the needs identified by the Indigenous community in Toronto. I provide sexual and reproductive health care through the life cycle, and I am very committed to both increasing access to Indigenous-focused health care and supporting more Indigenous folks to become midwives.
